The recommendations are based on factual findings from our experimental research.<br>\r\n            <br>\r\n            By presenting materials that allow users to visualize potential earthquake damage, the handbook encourages medical device and equipment manufacturers to consider seismic risks that were previously overlooked. It can also serve as a reference for designing new medical equipment with earthquake countermeasures in mind.<br>\r\n            <br>\r\n            Alongside the handbook, we have compiled a DVD titled \u201cPreparing for Major Earthquakes \u2013 Aiming to Maintain Function\u201d, which includes video footage from the world\u2019s first shaking table experiments on medical facilities conducted at E-Defense. The DVD helps viewers understand the necessity, methods, and effectiveness of earthquake countermeasures, and can be used for both education and awareness purposes.<\/p>\r\n          <section>\r\n            <h4>Overview<\/h4>\r\n            <p>Only Japanese<\/p>\r\n            <p>This handbook provides insights into the potential damage medical facilities may face during an earthquake. It serves as a reference for reducing such damage and ensuring that essential functions of the facilities are maintained.
