From 2 to 7 June 2025, the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction was held at the International Conference Centre Geneva, Switzerland.
At the Innovation Platform (exhibition), we showcased E-Defense, one of the world’s largest shaking tables, along with cutting-edge experimental research results using the facility. Posters, videos, and VR demonstrations were used to present these achievements.
During the five-day event, around 200 government officials and experts from about 20 countries—including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Philippines, Indonesia, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Guinea—visited our booth. They engaged in discussions on enhancing resilience to earthquakes and other natural hazards, as well as exploring opportunities for research collaboration and human resource exchange.
Through this participation, we were able to raise the international profile of E-Defense and further promote global networking.
